La indumentaria de las mujeres de Panajachel, est\u00e1 conformado por un g\u00fcipil (blusa), de color rojo con peque\u00f1os animales bordados, el corte (falda) es negro, refajo rojo bordado y un tocado en color corinto.\u00a0 Es com\u00fan el uso de muchos collares y un tapado en la cabeza.\u00a0 Aunque el traje del var\u00f3n, ha ca\u00eddo en desuso, se integra con un pantal\u00f3n blanco, camisa roja y un \u201ccapishay\u201d (manto) de lana negro. El uso del \u201ccapishay\u201d significaba abolengo o cierto cargo.
